As I sit here in my room, typing away in this 95-degree weather, summer is truly sizzling! I hope you're staying hydrated, taking care of yourselves, and finding moments of peace amidst everything happening in the world—from ongoing conflicts and intense debates to climate disasters and concerns about our democracy.
Recently, I found myself listening to Whitney Houston’s “The Greatest Love of All.” Her lyrics resonated deeply with me, especially in light of what’s going on around us:
"I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be"
Reflecting on these beautiful words reminds me of the importance of supporting the next generation with meaningful tools to create powerful solutions for the challenges we face today. Our children are our future, and they are living through disruptive times that already have/will have drastic repercussions to their equality, wellbeing, finances, environment, education, and overall quality of life for years to come.
I know many of you, as parents or caregivers, already have so much on your plate—balancing work, parenting, and home life, navigating financial constraints, while finding time for meaningful and engaging activities for your kids.
